A lot of rumors and such have been circulating about Wildcat Tournament Legend of the Red Dragon. So, in light
of this, we've decided to throw out a few interesting facts about this game.
WT-LORD's source code was NOT converted over from the original Pascal coding. In fact, not even 5% of the operations
contained in the game were ported from any formerly written code. Most of WT-LORD was written the hard way: through
knowledge of the game attained from playing it. When we had specific questions, we consulted Seth Able Robinson, but other
than that, it was a lot of 'frontier' programming :)
If all of the characters WT-LORD's source code were printed in 10 point Courier and layed in a line, the line would be
about 9.7 miles, or over 51,000 feet long!
FidoTel is handling the distribution of WT-LORD
If we could have redeemed a 5 cent deposit per can on all the cans of soda we went through while programming WT-LORD,
we wouldn't have had to worry about writing it in the first place :)
We were considering a 'team' option for WT-LORD
Most of the spelling errors in the first release of WT-LORD are direct ports from Seth Able's own unique version of
the English language and not our doing.. well, most..
WT-LORD does support IGMs, but they must be written in wcCODE5.
